Our Story

Serving Central Kentucky since 1950

Bud’s Produce was founded in 1950 by Bud Gregory of Elizabethtown — the first processing facility east of the Mississippi to process and package retail salads. Our warehouse on Ring Road was one of the first structures built on the “new road” in 1984. In 1999 Bud retired and Premier Produce, LLC took over operations, and we’ve remained the only full-line produce distributor in Central Kentucky ever since. We support our local community civically and professionally, striving to provide quality product at a cost-conscious price.
